طبقہ تنش ۔ ایک دوسرے کے قریب واقع نباتات کے دو مختلف طبقات مثلاً گیاہ زار اور جنگل کا درمیانی علاقہ جس میں دونوں کے نامیے ایک دوسرے پر غالب آنے کے لیے سرگرم مسابقت رہتے ہیں ۔
