(1) - Jointress (n.) A woman who has a jointure.

jointure

حق زوجیت ۔ مہر ۔
(1) - Jointure (v. t.) To settle a jointure upon.
(2) - Jointure (n.) An estate settled on a wife, which she is to enjoy after husband's decease, for her own life at least, in satisfaction of dower.
(3) - Jointure (n.) A joining; a joint.

jointworm

(1) - Jointworm (n.) The larva of a small, hymenopterous fly (Eurytoma hordei), which is found in gall-like swellings on the stalks of wheat, usually at or just above the first joint. In some parts of America it does great damage to the crop.
